Charles N. Crowder, D.M.D., M.P.H., M.S. – Orthodontic Specialist in Dothan, Ozark, and Eufaula, Alabama
Dr. Crowder is a specialist in orthodontics. After graduating from UAB dental school, Dr. Crowder trained an additional two years at UAB Hospital in a General Dentistry Residency treating medically compromised patients while simultaneously completing a Masters in Public Health. Dr. Crowder furthermore studied orthodontics an additional three years at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a master’s degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Crowder is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. By learning about tooth movement and guidance of facial development, Dr. Crowder is a uniquely educated expert in dentistry trained to align jaws and straighten teeth.

Hello! I am the Office Manager at Crowder Orthodontics. I have been working here since 2008. I am a Certified Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Hygienist. I am married and have 3 boys. In my spare time I enjoy scrapbooking, crafts and spending time with my family. I enjoy coming to work every day and seeing our patients and their families. It is a pleasure working for Dr. Crowder and with the rest of the "Crowder Team". They are my second family. Our team is full of friendly people and we have lots of fun together. When you become a patient here, you become a part of our family, and we will treat you with respect and honesty. We treat people the way we would like to be treated, and that makes for a GREAT day!
I have been married to my husband Charles for 23 years. We have a daughter Kellie who is 20 and a son Caleb who is 17. And Recently I gained a new son in law Jacob Hatcher. I have been part of the Crowder team as an Orthodontic Assistant for almost 3 years now and they have been a very rewarding 3 years. I love seeing the patients from day to day and watching their progress. My favorite part is seeing their before and after photos. I love talking with each patient and hearing whats going on in their lives. It gives me an opportunity to encourage them in any way that I can and to be able to let them know that on their bad days that tomorrows a whole new day to try again. Dr Crowders vision is that we are "Creating More than just smiles" and I believe that Our team has captured that vision. It is both a blessing and a honor to be a part of the Crowder team and I can't wait to see you there.
Hi there! As an orthodontic assistant, I assist Dr. Crowder with placing braces and removing them. I am also responsible for adjustments, hygiene instruction, sterilization and lab work. My favorite part of the job is seeing patients gain confidence as they move through the process of having their teeth straightened. When I am not in the office, I enjoy painting, photography and surfing PInterest. I live in Ozark with my wonderful husband of 21 years, Chris, and our two children, Taylor and Connor. I love the end results of orthodontics and the confidence it gives our patients. Seeing their smiles when the braces come off is priceless!
